Hudson River wildlife

So, we're out fishing on the Hudson River when a mother Red-Headed Merganser and her 5 chicks came by. But, they were elusive. So this is the best pic I got of the five chicks. It was at the Sherman Island launch site, featured in our Lake George kayaking book.

Eastern Mtn Sports Kayak Demo

This past weekend Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) asked us to come out to their annual Kayak Demo Day at Lake Desolation in Saratoga County. Despite the rain, we were there to sign copies of our Lake George kayaking book, as well as our Saratoga and Lake George bicycling books. Great people and great kayaks!
