Galapagos Islands Expedition

Blue Footed Boobies, giant tortoises and a host of other exotic and unusual critters await us in our upcoming Galapagos Islands expedition. It's summer on the Equator and we're headed there. For seven days we'll be island hopping and taking photos to bring back to all of our friends and associates. We'll be putting together a Powerpoint Program of our best photos and experiences. We'll make it available for groups as soon as we can get it together upon our return. Maybe as soon as late March. Don't know where the Galapagos islands are? Roughly 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador. Map attached. http://www.rogerfulton.com/

Firetowers of the Adirondacks and Catskills

Coming soon! Our book about the 29 remaining firetowers, all of which are part of the ADK Firetower Challenge. We did them all! In this book we have included explicit directions from Interstate highways, where to park, what you might see and what we found. We also included GPS readings and more than 60 full color photos. Titled 29 Fire Tower Trails in the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains, it should be available by April of 2012. It's up-to-date and user friendly in our usual format. The attached photo is just a "sneak preview" and draft copy of the cover, but you get the idea. More later as we get closer to publication.

Snowshoeing Saratoga Springs Region

Honest, we keep trying to write a guide book for snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the Saratoga Springs Region, but the weather refuses to cooperate with us! The best we can suggest is to come a little further north into the Lake George Region. We actually have a good trail guide for snowshoeing and cross country skiing where there might actually might be some snow this winter. Check it out at: http://rogerfulton.com/ecotours/NYBooks/LakeGeorge-Ski-Snowshoe.htm.
