Golfing- Lake George & Saratoga

Who would have guessed that Golf Digest would rank this area as the #2 region in the entire United States for golf quality and availability? Local outdoor writers Mike Carpenter and Roger Fulton have scheduled a presentation about this revelation, and about the area golf courses that spawned this reputation, at Crandall Public Library on Monday, May 18th at 7:00 pm. They will talk about local golf courses and share their golf discoveries with you, even including their evaluations of the 19th Hole facilities, and whether or not they are up to par. After their extensive research, they have just released an outdoor trailguide for golfing in the Lake George-Saratoga Springs, NY region titled: “25 Golf Courses in the Lake George- Saratoga Springs, NY Region”.
This Powerpoint presentation is free and open to the public. It is a part of the Lake George Outdoors series running this summer. It is jointly sponsored by Crandall Public Library, Red Fox Books and the publisher, Common Man Books. Come and learn about this area, and a little bit about golfing. Copies of their new book will be available for sale at the presentation.
