#2 - Trailing Arbutus

It's March and you will soon start to see signs of Spring - even in Northern NY. And one of the first signs, breaking through the melting snow, will be this beautiful flower. It is a rare Trailing Arbutus and blooms fleetingly in the early spring. It's listed as #2 in our book Wildflowers of the Lake George, NY Region - Spring Edition.
Check it out at: http://rogerfulton.com/ecotours/NYBooks/lake-george-wildflowers.htm Then, enjoy the Spring Wildflowers through to June.
