Damage control

Still working on our Lake George area biking book, today we toured the Garnet Hill Mt. Biking Center near North River, NY. Richard, a staff member led us on our trek to show us their trails and all that the center has to offer. Well, off-road mountain biking can take its toll on equipment, and it did. Richard snapped his bike chain about ½ hour into our ride. Luckily, he also repairs and maintains the bikes for the lodge. He had a chain tool and repaired his chain in VERY short order. Amazingly fast! Less than 5 minutes. And we were on our way once again. Here’s a pic of his handiwork in progress.
