I graduated!

My most recent trip to Florida was to complete the final segment of my Master Naturalist training through the University of Florida IFAS. I thoroughly enjoyed every segment of the program. This last one was the Freshwater Wetlands segment. Thanks to my instructors Charles Fedunak and Teresa Mitchell of Lake County. And thanks to my fellow students who made it a fun time.
If you think you might enjoy wading in freshwater muck, or exploring ocean critters you have never heard of, you can check out the Master Naturalist homepage at:

John Knox Village's Eco-Tour 3/26/08

Here is the John Knox Village's outdoor adventure crew on their own eco-tour of the Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge with yours truly as their tour guide. In about 90 minutes we managed to see at least 33 species of wildlife, much of it through our 60 power spotting scope. A good time was had by all.
