Spring has Sprung! We have evidence!

I've been a "Snowbird" for about 20 years, spending my winter months in Florida and then back to NY for the summer months. And for that same length of time I have watched for these beautiful flowers in the Iris Family, to bloom at Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge. They don't have a calendar, but they know when Spring has arrived. When they bloom it is time for me to prepare to "go home." They started in bloom this past week. See you all soon and I will bring Spring with me!
