We have warned you about the dangers of tick bites and possible Lyme disease in the past on this Blog. And in our book Safe in the Woods that came out last Fall, we dedicated pages 71 to 73 to the prevention of exposure to tick bites and Lyme disease. 

This is just another wake-up call. So protect yourself out there. Take the common sense precautions we recommend and then just check for ticks every day after coming in from outdoors, whether it's from the wild or your own back yard.
